Biography
I have an undergraduate degree in nutrition, dietetics and administration with registration as a dietitian. My graduate degree is in health promotion. I have years of experience in nutrition and health policy. I retired in 2012 from Share Our Strength, a national non-profit working on ending childhood hunger with education and public policy.
I joined the League in 2012 and began volunteering. I also volunteer with Boulder County in the Circles program working to end poverty one family at a time. I volunteer with my alma mater, Kansas State University, mentoring a dietetics student. I belong to LeDames D'Escoffier, an international organization for chefs and nutrition professionals.
