LWVADC Fall Kickoff Meeting - 7 PM

The League of Women Voters of Arapahoe and Douglas Counties will celebrate the beginning of the fall season with our annual Fall Kickoff Event online only.

Our presentation will feature guest speaker Chris Stiffler. Senior Economist with the Colorado Fiscal Institute, to explain the two statewide ballot questions on the November 7 ballot: Proposition HH and Proposition II.

Proposition HH will reduce property taxes and will provide a voter approved revenue change while Proposition II concerns a funding retention rate reduction. Both propositions were referred by the state legislature and are controversial.

This is a free event for League members, prospective members, and their guests. No registration is required. All League members are invited.

League of Women Voters of Arapahoe and Douglas Counties members will receive a link to the online meeting by email. Other League members are asked to email lwvadc.defending.democracy@gmail.com with their name, email address, League name in the email body. And please add "KICKOFF" in the email subject line for a meeting invitation.
