Featured Community Event: Colorado Ceasefire Gun Violence Vigil - 4:30 PM
Featured Community Event: Colorado Ceasefire
Sandy Hook Shooting Tenth Anniversary Vigil
First Baptist Church
1373 Grant St
Denver, CO 80203
4:30 PM - 5:30 PM
On December 14, 2012, 20 First Graders and 6 Educators were shot and killed at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, Connecticut. Much to our continued heartbreak, countless other school shootings have followed. The most recent Club Q shooting in Colorado Springs renews our mission to stop senseless gun violence. We also commemorate the Columbine, Parkland, and Uvalde shootings.
Join Colorado Ceasefire and Colorado Faith Communities United to End Gun Violence (CFCU) on Wednesday, December 14 from 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM at First Baptist Church Denver, 1373 Grant Street, Denver, CO. near the south side of the Colorado State Capitol.
Event Speakers will be Tom Mauser, Father of Columbine Student Daniel Mauser, and Jane Dougherty, Sister of Sandy Hook School Psychologist Mary Sherlach.
Help commemorate the many lives that have been unfairly lost due to gun violence.
The event will take place outdoors. Please dress warmly. Hot beverages will be provided. Feel free to invite any of your friends, family, or peers to join. This event is completely free and open to the community.
Parking: Free church parking and metered street parking are available. Please check Colorado Ceasefire's Facebook page:
