Aurora Police Oversight Town Hall Meeting - 6:30 PM

About this event

The Aurora Community Advisory Council will be moderating a town hall between IntegrAssure, the public, representatives of the city, and the Colorado Attorney General’s Office on Aug. 9 at 6:30 p.m. at the Beck Recreation Center and online.

IntegrAssure, a risk management firm hired to report on Aurora Police progress, has issued a mixed assessment of the work done so far by Aurora’s police and fire agencies to enact numerous public safety reforms, specifically criticizing how police evaluate uses of force.

The city of Aurora will televise the town hall meeting live on AuroraTV and Comcast channels 8 and 880. Details about how to participate in the town hall virtually will be provided on the Aurora Monitor website the day before the meeting
The event will be streamed online and televised, and community members can submit questions in advance by filling out the contact form on the Aurora Monitor website.
