National Abortion Provider Appreciation Day
About this event
National Abortion Provider Appreciation Day was created to honor Dr. David Gunn, who was murdered by a white supremacist anti-abortion extremist on March 10, 1993.
Restrictive abortion policies mean politics get in the way of the personal medical decisions between a patient and medical provider.
Colorado prides itself as a provider of reproductive health care.
Since the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, the need for abortion services in Colorado has dramatically increased due to patients being denied science-based reproductive health care.
Americans should have the right to make their own decisions and have access to patient-centered, evidence-based medicine. The quality of care that a patient can receive should not be determined by partisan politics.
League members support self-determination of bodily autonomy, privacy, reproductive health, economic justice, and lifestyle choice. Join us!
