About this event
The League of Women Voters honors our veterans on D Day on June 6, the day of the Allied invasion of Normandy during the Second World War. These Normandy landings began the liberation of France and the rest of Western Europe and laid the foundations of the Allied victory on the Western Front against Nazi Germany.
