The League of Women Voters celebrates International Pronouns Day on the third Wednesday of October.
Referring to people by the pronouns they determine for themselves is basic to human dignity. International Pronouns Day seeks to make respecting, sharing, and educating about personal pronouns commonplace.
These rights are human rights and the League of Women Voters supports justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion.
