About this event

The LWV of Arapahoe and Douglas Counties is proud to present a viewing of "Till".

"Till" is a profoundly emotional and cinematic film about the true story of Mamie Till-Mobley's relentless pursuit of justice for her 14-year-old son, Emmett Till, who in 1955, was lynched while visiting his cousin in Mississippi. In Mamie's poignant journey of grief turned to action, we see the universal powers of a mother's ability to change the world. Till stars Danielle Deadwyler, Jalyn Hall, Frankie Faison, Haley Bennett and Whoopie Goldberg.

All League members and their guests are welcome.

We look forward to seeing you there and we still recommend the use of masks for everyone's safety.

No registration is required, but space is limited. We ask that you RSVP by emailing us with your name and email address to lwvadc.defending.democracy at sign gmail dot com. Please let us know which League you belong to. And please specify TILL on the email subject line.
