* LWVUS recently passed a new climate emergency resolution at this year's LWVUS National Convention asking state and local Leagues to urge state and local governments to adopt and publicize Declarations of Climate Emergencies
* LWVUS has urged Congress to support the National Climate Adaptation and Resilience Strategy Act bill, H.R.6461 and S.3531, to create a national strategy to prepare for the climate hazards
