The League of Women Voters of Arapahoe and Douglas Counties International Relations Zoom Discussions group will meet online for eight weeks.
The eight 2001 Foreign Policy Association topics that we will discuss are:
☆ Global Supply Chains and National Security
☆ Persian Gulf Security Issues
☆ Brexit and the European Union
☆ Struggles Over the Melting Arctic
☆ China's Role in Africa
☆ The Korean Peninsula
☆ Roles of International Organizations in a Global Pandemic
☆ The End of Globalization?

We ask that participants purchase the Foreign Policy Association's 2021 study book and read about the first topic, "Global Supply Chains and National Security", before this first meeting on February 1 so that we can discuss the topic. The 2021 study book may be ordered from the Foreign Policy Association here.
At this first meeting participants will also have the opportunity to sign up to be future moderators.

The Foreign Policy Association has uploaded documentary videos of past years' Great Decisions topics to YouTube for viewing. You can watch their 2020 presentation of "Rising Tide: Climate Change and the World's Oceans" on YouTube here. Look on YouTube for other past topics too. Also, you may have seen some of past years' videos available on PBS, Netflix, Hulu, and the Internet Archive (archive.org).
Participants who wish to become more familiar with meeting online using Zoom will have the opportunity to attend a practice Zoom session online beforehand on Friday, January 29 at 10:00 a.m. Contact Barbara Dungey for Zoom meeting support.
