Featured Community Event: Colorado Sun Legislative Preview in-person.

Join The Colorado Sun’s politics team in-person to preview the 2026 Legislative Session with some of our state’s lawmakers. Topics will include what Coloradans can expect during the session surrounding politics and policy, as well as a focus on the budget deficit.

Colorado Sun’s Politics Reporter & Editor Jesse Paul will lead the conversation.

Speakers include:
  • Gov. Jared Polis – Virtual but will be broadcasted during the in-person event- 6-6:30 p.m.
  • Senate Majority Leader Robert Rodriguez, D-Denver – 6:30-7 p.m.
  • Colorado House Speaker Julie McCluskie, D-Dillon – 6:30-7 p.m
  • State Sen. Barbara Kirkmeyer, R-Brighton – 7-7:30 p.m.
  • State Sen. Judy Amabile, D-Boulder – 7-7:30 p.m.
