The League of Women Voters recognizes the anniversary of the signing of the Americans With Disabilities Act, signed on July 26, 1990.
People with disabilities and people of all sexual and gender orientations deserve equal access to opportunities and fair treatment.
In addition, New York City recognizes July as Disability Pride Month.
