The Rocky Mountain Institute will present their analysis of The Inflation Reduction Act and CHIPs Act just passed by Congress. "How Will If Affect The Environment, Businesses, Individuals and Legislation in Colorado?"

All League members and their guests are invited to this online presentation. Bring a friend!

The Climate Emergency Task Force of the Colorado League of Women Voters of Colorado, a statewide group of League members, invites you to a presentation "The Inflation Reduction Act – Impacts and Opportunities to Transform Colorado’s Economy and Build a Clean Energy Future" on Thursday, September 29 at 10:00 a.m. online.
The three guest speakers will be: Attendees are asked to review these resources before the meeting:
  • The State Climate Scorecards' webpage, which includes Colorado’s State ScorecardThe State Climate Scorecards' webpage  In short, the state scorecards are an innovative tool that assesses where states stand against their climate goals in every major economic sector and identifies the gaps that states must address to achieve those targets by the end of the decade.
  • A NY Times article that highlights the importance of city- and state-level climate action. It references the scorecards and also covers Colorado.
  • A RMI article that dives into how fast-growing Colorado is addressing decarbonizing its mobility sector.
