LWVDC John Lewis Day of Commemoration and Action - 3:30 PM MT
League recognizes the nation-wide campaign to demand that the U.S. Congress prioritizes passage of these bills to protect voting rights and secure statehood for Washington, DC:
- John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act
- Freedom to Vote Act
- Native American Voting Rights Act
- The Washington, DC Admission Act
This is an effort by a broad coalition of organizations working to protect democracy and end voter suppression.
